Закономерности уровня летальности COVID-19 в мире и прогнозная оценка числа смертей вследствие эпидемии в РФ

Abstract

В работе представлены результаты эконометрического анализа факторов, влияющих на летальность COVID-19 в различных странах, и проведена прогнозная оценка числа умерших в России вследствие эпидемии. Подтверждено, что доля умерших от завершившихся случаев болезни зависит от уровня тестирования (количество тестов на одного зараженного и на тысячу населения). Кроме того, выявленная летальность заболевания зависит от доли завершенных случаев, от возрастной структуры населения и от того, насколько рано по сравнению с другими странами эпидемия пришла в страну (без учета Китая). Показано, что доля умерших медработников в общей смертности от нового коронавируса в РФ на порядок выше, чем в развитых странах. Это говорит и о занижении данных умерших от COVID-19 в РФ, и о неудовлетворительном качестве российской системы здравоохранения.

The paper presents the results of an econometric analysis of factors affecting the lethality of COVID-19 in various countries and provides a predictive estimate of the number of deaths in Russia due to the epidemic. It has been confirmed that the proportion of deaths from completed cases of the disease depends on the level of testing (the number of tests per infected and per thousand population). In addition, the detected lethality of the disease depends on the proportion of completed cases, on the age structure of the population and on how early the epidemic arrived in the country compared to other countries (China is not taken into account). It was shown that the proportion of deceased health workers in the total mortality from a new coronavirus in the Russian Federation is an order of magnitude higher than in developed countries. This suggests an underestimation of the data of deaths from COVID-19 in the Russian Federation, and the unsatisfactory quality of the Russian healthcare system.
