К вопросу о рукописных изданиях сочинений Михаила Хониата

Abstract

В статье рассматривается состав подборок речей и писем Михаила Хониата, содержащихся в кодексах Scorialensis Υ-II-10 и Barocci 131. Автор приходит к выводу, что материалы, которыми располагали редакторы обоих рукописей, должны были восходить к одному и тому же авторскому рукописному изданию, составленному не ранее 1185 г. В случае Barocci 131 это издание было дополнено рядом более поздних сочинений Михаила Хониата. В их число входит небольшая группа писем, отправленных с о. Кеос после 1205 г. По мнению автора статьи, эта группа обязана своим происхождением не самому писателю, а кому-то из его адресатов.

The article studies the contents of the collections of speeches and letters of Michael Choniates, present in the codices Scorialensis Υ-II-10 and Barocci 131. The author comes to conclusion that the material the editors of the both manuscripts had in their disposal should have ascended to the same edition, prepared by the learned bishop himself no later than 1185. In the case of Barocci 131 this edition was supplemented with several later works, including a small set of letters sent by Michael Choniates from his exile on the island Keos after 1205. It seems this set should have been assembled by someone of the recipients of Choniates’ letters rather than by the author himself.
