Abstract: The kinetics of anode dissolution of nickel in molten sodium borosilicate and calcium aluminosilicate containing 0.5-3 wt % NiO is studied. Data on the current efficiency of nickel during its anode dissolution under various experimental conditions are obtained. The steady-state current-voltage characteristics of a nickel electrode are analyzed. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.
