Abstract: | The kinetics of anodic oxidation of carbon-containing materials in borosilicate melts is studied. A mechanism of the anodic process that takes into account the surface diffusion of adsorbed oxygen atoms is proposed. The kinetic characteristics of the process for various systems and experimental conditions are determined. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. |
