Abstract: | The construction of contemporary laboratory units, procedures for studying the elastic mechanical and physicochemical properties of different composition, both original, and impregnated with molten slag-matte of copper composition are developed with the aim of determining nonferrous metallurgy unit lining endurance,. The procedures developed using new laboratory devices making it possible to predict nonferrous metallurgy unit lining endurance with sufficient accuracy. On the basis of studies using the new procedures combined highly resistant linings are created and introduced for horizontal converters and aWaelz kiln for a number of nonferrous metallurgy enterprises. © 2012 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. |
