Title: Certification of hardened surface layers by magnetic and electromagnetic methods
Authors: Mitropol'skaya, S. Y.
Issue Date: 2013
Citation: Mitropol'skaya S. Y. Certification of hardened surface layers by magnetic and electromagnetic methods / S. Y. Mitropol'skaya // Metal Science and Heat Treatment. — 2013. — Vol. 55. — № 3-4. — P. 157-162.
Abstract: The possibilities of certification of hardened surface layers by measurement of coercive force, eddy current inspection and analysis of the field dependence of differential magnetic permeability μ d (H) are considered. The advantages of analysis of the pattern of peaks on the μ d (H) dependence for estimating the state of surface-hardened steels subjected to subsequent force loading are shown. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
