Abstract: Plasticizers introduced into ceramic bodies facilitate extrusion and increase blank speed and productivity. With lower molding moisture content articles with good exterior appearance can be obtained. Grinding aids reduce considerably the time required to comminute silicate materials and energy consumption. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
