Abstract: A laboratory unit is assembled, criteria are substantiated, and tests are performed for the cold modeling of Ausmelt-furnace-settler systems. The article shows the potential of this approach for evaluating the overall productivity of the process, the condition of the bath, and the completeness of phase separation in the settler. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.
