Abstract: The issues of changing the strain intensity in the wall cross-section over the outer and inner faces and the length of the processed pipe have been considered. Theoretical and full-scale experiments have been performed, the results of which are consistent. The data obtained in the research are of practical use for manufacturers and consumers of process equipment when considering the impact of the workpiece wall thickness deviations on the processing result to improve and develop the pipe forming processes, machines, and the working tool shapes to obtain pipes with desired properties. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc..
