Abstract:	Uncertainty takes on a special significance in the conditions of modern business functioning. This article attempts to deal with the definition and assessment of the risks of unfriendly economic and political conditions. In addition, the long-term impact of global economic turbulence on the financial performance of a group of companies in Russia over the last ten years is analyzed using econometric methods.
