Abstract: | 1-Pyrenmagnesium bromide (Grignard reagent) was prepared in situ from 1-bromopyrene, and was successfully used for the syntheses of 1-pyrenecarbaldehyde and 1-pyrene carboxylic acid under mild conditions with high yields. © 2020 Author(s). |
