Abstract: | Electrode processes in LiCl –NdF3 melts were studied using different electrochemical techniques. It was shown that electrochemical properties of lithium and neodymium are close to each other thus resulting in cooperative reduction under relatively high current density. It was proved that neodymium forms only Nd (III) dissolved ions in such electrolytes. |
