Abstract: The effect of iron stoichiometry on the superconducting properties of 1 0.5 0.5 Fe1+δSe0.5Te0.5 ( -0.1<=δFe<= 0.04) has been studied. The polycrystalline samples were prepared using the high-temperature solid state reaction method. Structure and phase purity of the samples were examined by an X-ray powder diffraction. The resistivity was measured using a standard four-probe method. The composition with optimal iron content Fe0.94Se0.5Te0.5 Fe1+δSe0.5Te0.5 was determined based on the resistivity measurements data.
