Специфика структуры и содержания законодательных документов древнеанглийских королей Альфреда и Этельстана

Abstract

This study examines the peculiarities of the Old-English legislative texts published by King Alfred and King Athelstan. It considers and compares the documents with regard to their volume, main aspects of the contents, the history ofcreation, and the structure of the articles in them. Apart from that, the author singles out linguistic means which helpachieve specific instructive characterof the text of the documents under consideration.

Исследование посвящено структурным и содержательным особенностям законодательных документов древнеанглийских королей Альфреда и Этельстана. В сравнении рассматриваются объем, доминирующие аспекты содержания, история создания и устройство статей в обоих документах. Анализируются также и способы, с помощью которых достигается особый, назидательный характер законодательного текста.
