Святилище первых металлургов Среднего Урала : монография

Abstract

Монография посвящена публикации результатов раскопок уникального памятника начала бронзового века – святилища Шайтанское Озеро II, включенного в 2013 г. по версии Шанхайского археологического форума в десятку мировых археологических открытий. Памятник является ключевым источником для понимания процессов перехода от эпохи камня к эпохе палеометалла, внедрения металла и традиций металлообработки в культуру населения охотников и рыболовов Среднего Урала, становления новых форм мифоритуальной практики, обусловленных кардинальными переменами в условиях включения этих районов в систему связей Западноазиатской (Евразийской) металлургической провинции. В центре внимания факторы, механизмы и перспективы авангардных инноваций в области технологий в регионе, лишенном условий для производства пищи, но обладавшем исключительными сырьевыми ресурсами. Реконструируемая модель сложения самобытного производящего центра в лесной зоне является ярким примером многообразия адаптационных стратегий человека дописьменной поры в высоких широтах Евразии. Издание адресовано специалистам в области археологии, антропологии, истории, студентам, краеведам, всем интересующимся историей края.

The subject of the monograph is the publication of excavations of the unique Bronze Age archaeological site - the sacred place Shaitan Lake II. In 2013 the Shanghai Archaeological Forum recognized the site as one of the top ten world archaeological discoveries The site is one of the key sources for understanding the processes of transition from the age of stone to the age of paleometal, the period of introducing metal and the metal working traditions into the culture of the hunters and fishermen of the Middle Ural, the evolution of new forms of mythology and ritual practices resulting from the fundamental changes in the conditions of the participation of these areas in the system of contacts within the West Asian (Eurasian) metallurgical province. The focus of the study is on the factors, mechanisms and potential of the cutting-edge technological innovation in a region lacking favorable conditions for food production, but, at the same time, exceptionally rich in raw material resources. The reconstructed model of the evolution of an original production center in the forest zone is a vivid example of the diversity of human adaptation strategies of the preliterate societies in the high latitudes of Eurasia. The publication is addressed to the specialists in the fields of archeology, anthropology, and history; the university students, regional ethnographers, and the general public interested in the history of the region.
