Abstract:	“Deaf Sentence”, a novel by David Lodge, is analyzed as a part of the writer’s works, namely, as a part of Lodge’s panorama of campus novels. Some of the novel’s features are typical of the author’s campus novels, while the others are unique and distinguish it from the other novels of the genre.
