| Abstract: | In the VIII–VIIth centuries B.C. an iron meteorite have fallen in place, named Kaaly, on island Saaremaa. This event can explain the Greek myth about Faethon. The main idea of the article is confirming by the investi¬gation of ancient written sources and archaeological data about amber. |
