Abstract

The article analyzes the results of the Arkaim readings “Horizons of civilization ". The author analyzes 140 articls published in the Proceedings of Arkaim reading 5 years (2010-2014). His classification shows that the global problematic can be considered as a complex mix of different levels. On one hand, the “theory” part of articles which are devoted to many aspects of globalization and history. The author includes in this part the archaeological theme – especially Arkaim and its exploration. On the other hand one can see a number of articles on practical activities of people, organizations and communities which try to develop and embody the ideas of the “environmentally friendly” nature of mankind. This experience can be accepted as the part of wide movement of “noospheric mentality” (in Vernadsky’s sense of this expression). The review concludes by a reflection on the future of the Arkaim Readings as a useful platform of thinking and reflection about civilization’s vector.
