Функция китайской темы в провинциальной прозе Галины Климовской (на материале повести «Синий дым Китая»)

Abstract

В статье анализируется автодокументальная повесть современной сибирской писательницы Г. Климовской «Синий дым Китая», открывающая книгу ее прозы с одноименным названием. Повесть посвящена воспоминаниям о детских годах биографического автора. Выявляются истоки и семантическое расширение китайской темы, вписанной через детскую память героини в пространство провинциального текста, а также те элементы, которые связывают повесть с традицией экзистенциальной прозы. Показывается функциональное значение китайской темы в соединении детского праздника жизни с чувством страха, исходящим от эпохи рубежа 1930–1940-х гг.

The article analyzes the auto-documental story of the contemporary Siberian writer G. Klimovskaya The Blue Smoke of China which is the first one in her book of prose bearing the same name. The story is devoted to the biographer’s recollections of her childhood. The article studies the sources and semantic expansion of the Chinese theme which is made part of the space of a provincial text through a child’s memory and also the elements that connect the story with the tradition of existential prose. The article describes the functional meaning of the Chinese theme as a connection between the child’s celebration of life and the feeling of fear coming from the era between the 1930s and the 1940s.
