Советский мир в восприятии и оценках Гайто Газданова

Abstract

На материале литературного наследия Гайто Газданова (художественные и публи­цистические тексты, критика, письма) рассматривается проблема сложного отноше­ния писателя к советской России, ее идеологии, политике и культуре. Выделяются три периода в развитии взаимоотношений Газданова с советским миром: 1) 1920-1930-е гг., когда еще была допустима мысль о возвращении; 2) Вторая мировая война и послевоенные годы - время человеческого сближения с советскими людь­ми, а потом вторичного самоопределения относительно советской политики; 3) ра­бота на радио «Свобода».

With reference to Gaito Gazdanov’s literary heritage (works of fiction and political essays, critical works and letters), the author considers the problem of the writer’s complicated attitude towards Soviet Russia, its ideology, policy and culture. In the article, the author singles out three periods in Gazdanov’s relationships with the Soviet world, namely 1) the 1920-1930s when he still could think of going back to his motherland; 2) World War II and the postwar period, a time for a closer personal contact with the Soviet people, and a new subsequent self-determination in relation to the Soviet policy; 3) work for Radio Liberty.
