Место Союза русских художников среди художественных объединений Серебряного века

Abstract

Статья посвящена творческой деятельности объединения Союз русских художников (1903-1923) в сопоставлении с другими художественными группами, создававшимися в Москве и Санкт-Петербурге в конце XIX - начале ХХ в. Объектом исследования является Союз русских художников и ряд других крупных художественных объединений начала ХХ в. Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга. Предмет исследования - творческий метод мастеров Союза русских художников (темы, технические приемы) в сравнении с ведущими художественными объединениями начала ХХ в. Впервые сопоставляется деятельность Союза русских художников с другими творческими группами начала ХХ в. в тесной взаимосвязи с ними. Выявлены особенности художественного мастерства, главные темы творчества ведущих мастеров Союза, позволившие объединению занять ведущее положение в художественной жизни России начала ХХ в. Большой интерес искусство Союза вызывает в начале ХХI в., поэтому возникла необходимость оценить его деятельность с позиций нашего времени.

The paper covers the artistic activity of the Union of Russian Artists (1903-1923) in comparison with other art groups that appeared in Moscow and St. Petersburg in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The research object is the Union of Russian Artists and a number of other large art societies of the beginning of the 20th century in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The subject of the research is the artistic method of the Union's masters (themes, techniques) in comparison with the leading art associations of the early 20th century. For the first time the activity of the Union of Russian Artists is compared with other creative groups of the beginning of the 20th century in a close interrelation with them. The author of the paper distinguishes the peculiarities of the art skill and the main themes in the works of the Union's masters, which allowed the association to take a leading position in Russian artistic life at the beginning of the 20th century. The Union's art is of great interest at the beginning of the 21st century, therefore it became necessary to evaluate its activity from the positions of our time.
