Специфика участия Узбекистана в экономической интеграции стран ШОС

Abstract

In the framework of the SCO it is important integration of Uzbekistan with other states of the Organization of the region in trade and economic sphere. Today, there are many obstacles and problems hindering the development of trade relations between them. Within the SCO approved the Program of multilateral trade and economic cooperation of SCO member states, which determines the main directions and stages of economic integration until 2020. The Program provides in perspective to create favorable conditions for free movement of goods, capital, technology and services on SCO. The formation of common energy space, cooperation in transport and communications, expansion of trade, industrial cooperation, etc. are the most important areas of economic cooperation in Central Asia, Russia and China. Uzbekistan appreciates the level of interaction between the SCO member states in the economic sphere. The current crisis newly highlights key points of the SCO and opens the prospect of turning it into an effective structure of economic cooperation at the global level.
