Current Situation and Development Trend of China's Cultural Products Trade

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of China's export trade in cultural products and examines the status and trends of China's export trade in this domain. The literature review covers research and policy papers on the cultural industry. The article uncovers an important role of digitization for China's cultural trade and examines the challenges facing China's cultural trade, such as the irrational export structure of cultural products and the inadequate protection of innovation and intellectual property rights. Based on the analysis, the author concludes that China's cultural product exports are facing challenges while maintaining stable growth and are moving towards a new trend of digitization.
