Репрезентация образа Мольера в графическом романе М. Пуарсона и Р. Марайя «Мольер: от шута до фаворита»

Abstract

Статья посвящена рецепции личности драматурга Ж.-Б. Мольера в не переведенном на русский язык графическом романе французских авторов М. Пуарсона и Р. Марайя «Molière: du saltimbanque au favori» (2022). Исследуются вербальный и визуальный компоненты графического романа с целью выявления особенностей репрезентации образа Мольера в произведении авторов XXI в. посредством осмысления его биографии, взаимодействия с известными личностями своего времени, отношения к театру и религии, творческого наследия. Делается вывод о том, что, представляя Мольера как неоднозначную личность своего времени, авторы графического романа создают собственный положительный миф о французском драматурге.

The article is devoted to the reception of the personality of the playwright J.-B. Molière in the graphic novel “Molière: du saltimbanque au favouri” (2022) written by French authors M. Poirson and R. Maraï. This book has not been translated into Russian. The article explores the verbal and visual components of the graphic novel in order to reveal the specifics of Molière’s image representation in the book written by the authors of the XXI century. It analyses Molière’s biography, his interaction with famous personalities of his time, his attitude towards theatre and religion and his creative heritage. It is concluded that by presenting Molière as an ambiguous personality of his time the authors of the graphic novel create their own positive perception of the French playwright.
