Аннотация: | Green extraction of bioactive compounds from plants including flavanones glycosides from citrus peel being of great interest for researchers have been more and more investigated to preserve their bioactivity and pharmacological properties in the synthetized food product where they are present to prevent long-term diseases. Bitter flavanone glycosides Naringin and Neo hesperidin for instance have been reported to exhibit antioxidant, ant diabetic, and anticancer, anti-hypertension effect and have been more studied for their molecular structure properties allowing the synthesis of sweeteners through a slight structure modification resulting in their corresponding sweet dihydrochalcones. This section briefly reviews a feasibility to extract and treat naringin and neo hesperidin by green methods, like novel techniques based natural deep eutectic solvent and the use of macro porous resins as a part of a green technological approach to obtaining high values sweeteners. |
