Analysis of the formed general plan of the Yekaterinburg agglomeration. Its impact on development

Abstract

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of planning housing construction of the Yekaterinburg agglomeration, expressed in the research work of OJSC "Russian Institute of Urban Planning and Investment Development Giprogor,"commissioned by the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region and the general plans of the municipalities included in it. The definition of urban agglomeration is given. It was concluded to what extent and how it was proposed to develop the principles of agglomeration, including its impact on the development of housing construction and whether the resettlement scheme of the Russian Institute of Urban Planning and Investment Development Giprogor OJSC is the sum of the master plans of the municipalities included in the Yekaterinburg agglomeration. Also, the article presents a presentation with a visual comparison of the general plans of all municipalities with the resettlement scheme of OJSC Giprogor. © 2023 Author(s).
