Abstract: | In this work we study the optical properties of carbon dimer in bulk hexagonal boron nitride (BN). The utilization of density functional theory and many-body extended Hubbard models revealed the complex spectra, represented by bonding and anti-bonding states in-volved in optical transitions. |
