Abstract: | Salt is the most important source of industrial wastewater. Electrodialysis (ED) is a com-mon technology for desalination. Pretreatment is necessary to prevent membrane damage. The article presents a critical review of using reverse osmosis (RO) to improve removing of residual salt from ED process. |
