dc.description.abstractAl-Mg alloys and composite materials based on Al-Mg alloys are widely used in various fields due to their unique characteristics. In this paper, compositions of salt fluxes for processing alloys, as well as for the synthesis of Al-Mg-based composites, are thermodynamically justified and experimentally tested. The NaCl-KCl (chloride-fluoride flux) with MgF2 additives is recommended for further studies. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.en
