Abstract: In the article the author considers a new concept of the geoeconomics as the part of the geopolitical science. On the ground of these he defines the meaning of the geoeconomic strategy and opens it by the example of the Russia's modem police on the postsoviet area - in the CIS region due to the new trend in the global economy. The author also points at the advantages and disadvantages of the Russian policy and geoeconomic strategy. In this context it is underscored, that Russia has the greatest energy power, which uses today its possibilities. As the big success the author states the activation of the integration between Russia and the CIS states in the last years. It is confirmed by certain examples. The author concludes, that Russia is moving in the right way today, but still much has to be done to realize its integration project and to become the superpower country in the region and in the world.
