Abstract: | The article analyses freedom in the context of language ontologisation that certain contemporary philosophers propose. The author relates language ontologisation to the emergence of event ontology and demonstrates that event ontology relies on paradoxical negation-affirmation of the subject and subject's freedom. The author suggests that an affirmative strand within event ontology is best expressed in M. Bakhtin's metalinguistics. |
