Геометрия звукоряда

Abstract

Рассматриваются особенности звукоряда (ряда октав), представляющие интерес с точки зрения общей теории пропорций. Для выявления этих особенностей используются не декартовы, как обычно, а полярные координаты. График звукоряда, в этом случае, предстает в виде логарифмической спирали, обладающей рядом впервые наблюдаемых свойств, ранее не изученных.

The author studies the peculiarities of scale (octave range), which are of considerable interest from the point of view of proportion theory; to reveal the aforementioned peculiarities, the author appeals to polar, not orthogonal, coordinates. Hence, the scale graph is a logarithmic spiral, possessing a number of the formerly unobserved properties, studied for the first time.
