Abstract: | The corrosion resistance of zirconium, molybdenum, tantalum and tungsten was investigated in a wide temperature range (750 – 1100 °C) in fused LiCl, CaCl2, NaCl–KCl, LiF mixtures containing REE. The rates and the mechanisms of corrosion of the studied materials were determined. The processes taking place during the interaction between metals and melts were investigated. |
