О некоторых особенностях распространения Primula sibthorpii Hoffm. в лесах восточного Кавказа

Abstract

The article provides information on the early-springing Primula sibthorpii Hoffm. from different regions of Dagestan and Northern Azerbaijan. In addition, the features of the biology of development and reproduction associated with altitudinal zonality and conditioned by the natural and climatic conditions of the investigated territory are emphasized.Primula sibthorpii is a perennial herbaceous, polycarpic, rhizome plant with an early period of flowering from the family of primrose flowers. In the early spring period (before leaves blossom in the trees – March, April), assimilating spring leaves develop and mass flowering. In May-June, fruits and seeds ripen, a rosette of large summer leaves is formed. Reproduction occurs both as a seed and as a vegetative pathway (rooting of the rhizomes) by [1]. Primula sibthorpii occurs in the lower foothill beech, oak and hornbeam forests, rising to 1 200–1 400 m above sea level. In Dagestan, the species is distributed along the entire foothills from north to south, prefers penumbra.Thus, the primrose of Sibthorpe is capable of forming populations of very different spatial structures, determined by various environmental factors: the nature of the distribution of favorable conditions for the species, anthropogenic or cenotic stress.
