Abstract

Summary. The article presents the results of a forest pathological survey of the plantations of the Teberdinsky Reserve, the species composition of pests and pathogens of the main forestforming species is determined by the result of pheromone surveillance for the bark beetle typographer is presented. During the reconnaissance observation during the summer period in forest areas on the territory of the reserve, we noticed a number of pests and pathogens of diseases of the main forest-forming species. The eastern bark beetle typographer (Ips typographic L.) was especially noted on spruce, which for 3 years captured all the spruce forests of the gorges of the reserve, having worked from 10 to 40 % of the trees. For the timely detection of negative effects on forest specific pathological factors, early detection of signs of the emergence of pest outbreaks and the spread of diseases, determining the degree of damage to trees and the size of the shrinking of plantations, it is necessary to conduct an annual forest pathological examination of the forest plantations of the reserve.
