Summary. The taxation characteristics of plantings, the structure of the soil, the species and the quantitative composition of pests and plant diseases were studied. In the most characteristic areas, soil sections were laid, soil excavations were made, on the basis of which a detailed soil map was made. The soil has a powerful influence on the forest, forming the composition, morphological structure of stands and plantations, ensuring productivity and productivity, as well as the quality of wood. Immediately, all these results of soil exposure are determined, above all, by its fertility. Soil fertility consists of many factors: power, mechanical composition, organic matter content, moisture regime, temperature regime, density and aeration, acidity level, chemical composition, structure, groundwater level, biological activity, absorptive capacity. The closer to the optimum each of the factors, the higher the fertility of the soil and the more productive, more productive and more quality forest plantations. For the formation of sustainable and aesthetic plantations in urban forests, many different conditions are required: careful selection of appropriate tree and shrub species, preparation of the soil before planting trees, and maintenance of existing plantations.
