Процессы демутации лесостепной растительности Южного Предуралья

Abstract

Forest-steppe zone of the southern Urals is strongly changed due to anthropogenic influence. In the XX century, due to changes in the structure of agricultural land use in large areas began the process of vegetation restoring. To analyze the current state and trends of vegetation cover dynamics of forest-steppe plant cover of the southern Urals within the Orenburg region, flora and vegetation studies were conducted in a number of districts of the region with an interval of 15 years. The general trend of vegetation changes is directed towards the formation of quasi-natural communities close to zonal, but characterized by a significant proportion of synanthropic species. The change of diversity and structure of plant communities is more pronounced in areas previously used for grazing. The rate of demutation processes in plant communities is higher than expected, but rapid vegetation restoration is difficult, since it is impossible to completely exclude anthropogenic influence from the dynamics of vegetation.
