Промышленность Оренбуржья накануне перехода к НЭПу

Abstract

The article analyzes the state of industry and the situation of workers in the Orenburg region on the eve of the transition to a new economic policy. The analysis of published data and archival materials leads to the conclusion about the crisis situation in all industries. The transition to new methods of farming began in extremely difficult conditions. It is shown that the situation was complicated by the effects of civil war and the beginning of the famine: there was a reduction and downsizing of enterprises, reducing the number of jobs, the decline in production volumes. In order to restore the national economy and preserve the workforce, universal labor conscription was introduced, as well as measures to increase labor productivity and labor discipline. To overcome the consequences of the devastation and ensure sustainable development of the region’s industry made it possible to implement the NEP.

В статье анализируется состояние промышленности и положение рабочих Оренбургского края накануне перехода к новой экономической политике. Анализ опубликованных данных и архивных материалов приводит к выводу о кризисном положении всех отраслей промышленности. Переход к новым методам ведения хозяйства начинался в чрезвычайно сложных условиях. Показано, что положение осложнялось последствиями Гражданской войны и начавшимся голодом: шло сокращение и разукрупнение предприятий, уменьшение количества рабочих, снижение объемов выпускаемой продукции. С целью восстановления народного хозяйства и сохранения рабочих кадров вводились всеобщая трудовая повинность, меры по поднятию производительности труда и трудовой дисциплины. Преодолеть последствия разрухи и обеспечить устойчивое развитие промышленности региона дала возможность реализации нэпа.
