dc.description.abstract	The aim of this work is developing a methodology for production of polyethylene with improved properties for use in foodstuff industry, medicine, engineering, electronics and electrical engineering. The method of improving polyethylene properties is radiation crosslinking. This method consists of the destruction of C-H groups by the electron beam. The carbon atoms without hydrogen unite with one another forming a double covalent bond. As a result, the spatial lattice formed in the polymer volume causes changing its properties.	en
