Abstract

For the first time in history, more than half of the world's population is urban. By 2030, 60 percent of the world's population will live in cities. More than 90 percent of this urban growth will occur in cities and agglomerations in developing countries, or mainly in Africa and Asia. The article examines the dynamics and level of urbanization in the world, the relationship between urbanization and environmental management, as well as the system of urbanization problem resolution in these zones.
