Этнонимы как речевые маркеры категории этничности (на материале этнонимии Пермского края)

Abstract

The subject of this article deals concerns ethnonyms (folks’ names) as speech markers of ethnicity category. On the ethnonymic material of Perm region the function of ethnonyms is studied in different types of discourse (business, scientific, literary, dialect discourse). The author draws a conclusion that the ethnonyms’ functions depend on discourse type. Furthermore there is an ethnic fragment in the world image of the Perm region inhabitants which is characterized by anthropocentrism, oppositions “self – foreign”, “we – they” and stereotyped perception of “foreign” cultural space.
