Фактор колонизации Севера в политике формирования Уральской области

Abstract

Статья посвящена малоисследованной проблеме истории Урала — формированию в 1920-х гг. курса на промышленную колонизацию северных лесных районов как составной части экономической политики образованной в 1923 г. Уральской области. В работе доказывается, что стремление уральского руководства разрешить путем лесопромышленной колонизации северных окраин области проблему снабжения топливом металлургических заводов существенно повлияло на формирование границ Уральской области, в частности, на присоединение к ней территорий Тобольского Севера. Анализируются подходы к разработке планов колонизации лесных районов области и причины их свертывания в конце 1920-х гг.

The article is devoted to scantily studied problem of the Urals’ history — forming, during the 1920s, the policy for the industrial colonization of the northern wooded areas as a compound part of the economic policies of the Ural oblast’ established in 1923. It is argued in the article that the striving of the Urals’ authorities for solving the problem of the fuel supply for the metallurgical works by means of the forestry industrial colonization of the oblast’s northern outlying areas had a substantial influence on the formation of the Ural oblast’s borders, in particular, on the inclusion of the territories of the Tobols’k North. Approaches to working-out the colonization plans for the oblast’s forest areas and the reasons for their curtailment in the late 1920s are also analyzed.
