Политическая конкуренция на выборах мэра Екатеринбурга

Abstract

Статья посвящена изучению политической конкуренции на выборах мэра Екатеринбурга. Автор дает подробный анализ методик измерения электоральной конкуренции. Особое внимание уделено методике Тату Ванханена и формуле Херфиндаля — Хиршмана. На основе анализа большого фактического материала автор приходит к выводу, что уровень конкурентности выборов мэра города достаточно высокий. Показано, что основная причина такой конкуренции — наличие кандидатов от разных групп элит.

The article explores the degree of political competition in the election of the mayor of Ekaterinburg. The author analyzes in detail the methods of measuring electoral competition and focuses on the methodology of Tatu Vanhanen and the formula Herfindahl-Hirschman. The author concludes that the level of competitiveness in the elections of Ekaterinburg mayor is above average. The author argues that the main reason for such a degree of competition is the struggle among the candidates from different groups of city elite.
