Проблема палестинских беженцев в политике администрации Дж. Ф. Кеннеди (1961–1962 гг.)

Abstract

В статье изучается позиция администрации Дж.Ф. Кеннеди по отношению к проблеме палестинских беженцев. В начале 1960-х гг. США попытались разработать план решения этой проблемы. Основой «плана Джонсона» была идея расселения палестинских беженцев в арабских и неарабских странах, готовых их принять. Рассчитывая на взаимность со стороны Тель-Авива, США предложили Израилю управляемые ракеты класса «Хок». Правительство Д. Бен-Гуриона, получив желаемые ракеты, тем не менее сделало все возможное для провала «плана Джонсона».

This paper researches the position of the administration of John F. Kennedy towards the problem of the Palestinian refugees. In early of 1960s the United States attempted to develop a plan of the solution of this problem. The idea of resettlement of Palestinian refugees in Arab and non-Arab countries that were prepared to accept these refugees, constituted the basis of the so-called “Johnson’s plan”. Counting on reciprocity from Tel Aviv, the United States offered guided missiles “Hawk” to Israel. When Israel received the desired missiles, the government of David Ben-Gurion, however, did everything possible to failure the “Johnson’s plan”.
