Abstract

Рассматриваются вопросы преемственности традиций отечественной журналистики (от древних летописцев до современных публицистов), а также ее особая миссия как части национальной культуры и защитницы интересов народа.

The problem of succession of the Russian journalistic traditions is being examined in the article, starting from the old chroniclers up to the modern publicists. Besides the special mission of Russian journalism is being studied as part of the national culture and advocate of people's interests, but not as a producer of the information market goods.
