Рецензия на книгу: Lapidus, R., (2009–2023). Birch in a Desert Wind: Russian Influences on Hebrew Literature. 2 Vols. Jerusalem, Carmel Publ. House. Настоящая рецензия посвящена книге «Березы на жарком ветру пустыни: ивритская литература и ее связи с русской литературой». Написанная профессором Риной Лапидус из Бар-Иланского университета в Израиле, книга публиковалась в 2009 и 2023 гг. в двух томах иерусалимским издательством «Кармель». В своем исследовании ученый выявляет глубокие и обширные связи с русской литературой, языком и культурой многочисленных произведений, принадлежащих ко всем основным жанрам и течениям ивритской литературы второй половины XIX и XX в. и созданных большинством значительных ивритских писателей и поэтов того времени. Автор рецензии кратко анализирует содержание обоих томов книги, выделяя ее основные идеи и выводы. Работа Р. This article reviews Birch in a Desert Wind: Russian Influences on Hebrew Literature, a book written by Professor Rina Lapidus of Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Two volumes of the book were published in 2009 and 2023 respectively by Carmel Publishing House, Jerusalem, Israel. In her research, Lapidus identifies the profound and extensive influences of Russian literature, language, and culture on oeuvres of different genres and branches of Hebrew literature.
