Лингвокультурологические проблемы межкультурной коммуникации (на примере сериала «Эмили в Париже») : магистерская диссертация

Abstract

The importance of intercultural communication in the workplace should not be underestimated. It plays an important role in the functioning of the organization and also affects the final result. Although intercultural interaction is not new and has existed for centuries, with the advent of globalization, the world has become closer. Therefore, it is not surprising that people have to travel to different parts of the world as part of their work and adapt to this new environment. The relevance of the research lies in the fact that with the development of globalization, intercultural communication is becoming an increasingly widespread phenomenon, in particular in the business sphere. Without the necessary preliminary analysis of cultures, it is impossible to achieve the most effective communication. It can be assumed that the series "Emily in Paris", as a pop cultural phenomenon, is able to actualize the problem of intercultural communication, demonstrate the differences between the two cultures and teach the negative experience of the characters to avoid misunderstandings in the process of intercultural communication. In the theoretical chapter, the components of the process of intercultural communication, the main theories of intercultural communication and methods of linguistic and cultural analysis were analyzed; the main features of intercultural communication in the context of globalization were identified. In the practical chapter, a scheme of linguistic and cultural analysis was defined, a comprehensive linguistic and cultural analysis of the series "Emily in Paris" was carried out, consisting of a description method based on Hofstede theory, frame analysis and distributive analysis. A list of recommendations for this analysis has also been compiled.

Важность межкультурной коммуникации на рабочем месте не следует недооценивать. Она играет важную роль в функционировании организации и также влияет на конечный результат. Хотя межкультурное взаимодействие не ново и существует веками, с приходом глобализации мир сблизился. Поэтому неудивительно, что людям приходится путешествовать в разные части света в рамках своей работы и приспосабливаться к этой новой среде. Актуальность исследования заключается в том, что с ходом развития глобализации межкультурная коммуникация становится все более распространенным феноменом, в частности в деловой сфере. Без необходимого предварительного анализа культур невозможно достичь максимально эффективной коммуникации. Можно предположить, что сериал «Эмили в Париже», как поп-культурное явление способен актуализировать проблему межкультурной коммуникации, продемонстрировать различия двух культур и научить на негативном опыте персонажей избегать недоразумений в процессе межкультурной коммуникации. В теоретической главе были проанализированы составляющие процесса межкультурной коммуникации, основные теории межкультурной коммуникации и методы лингвокультурологического анализа; выявлены основные особенности межкультурной коммуникации в контексте глобализации. В практической главе была определена схема лингвокультурологического анализа, проведен комплексный лингвокультурологический анализ сериала «Эмили в Париже», состоящий из метода описания по теории Хофштеде, фреймового анализа и дистрибутивного анализа. Также был составлен список рекомендаций для проведения данного анализа.
