Идеал монастырской жизни и обличение ее духовного упадка в послании Ивана Грозного в Кирилло-Белозерский монастырь

Abstract

В статье проанализировано Послание в Кирилло-Белозерский монастырь Ивана Грозного, способы обличения автором пороков монастырской братии и несовершенства правил жизни в обители. Идеал монастырского устройства рассмотрен в противопоставлении упадку христианской жизни в XVI в., с которым борется государь. Монастырь, впуская в свое пространство порок, рискует потерять статус места сосредоточения «Божьей воли», грозит навлечь гнев Господа на остальную землю. Царь высказывает эти мысли, критикуя сложившуюся в обители ситуацию, описывает процесс «внутреннего» разрушения особой атмосферы этого места, привлекая необычные образы и символы. Изучение специфики выражения авторской позиции с целью восстановления христианского идеала монашества – цель данного исследования.

The subject of the report is the elucidation of the ideal of the monastery system and against this background the decline of Christian life in the 16th century, with what the sovereign had to struggle. The epistle to the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery of Ivan the Terrible, ways of denouncing the author of the vices of the monastic brethren and the imperfection of the rules of life in the monastery are analyzed. The monastery, letting vice into its space, risks losing its status as a place where “God's will” is centered, and threatens to bring the wrath of God upon the rest of the earth. The Tsar expresses these thoughts, criticizing the situation in the monastery, describes the process of “internal” destruction of the special atmosphere of this place, attracting unusual images and symbols. The study of the specifics of expressing the author's position in order to restore the Christian ideal of monasticism is the purpose of this study.
