Abstract

This paper describes the method of analysis of forms of vertical integration, where the transaction costs level of economic mutual relations of technologically connected firms is chosen as a key estimated parameter. This method includes mark system of criteria of comparison of a level of transaction costs at various forms of vertical integration. As an example of transaction the mining-metallurgical technological chain of firms is taken. Results of the comparative institutional analysis of forms of vertical integration between these firms are given. In conclusion measures of the state support of vertical integration in the Russian metallurgy as elements of an industrial policy are offered.
