Россия в планах Наполеона: к истории франко-русского альянса XIX в.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the debatable issue of the causes of the crisis and collapse of the Franco-Russian Union of 1807–1812. Turning to the key is-sues of the 200-year-old discussion, especially the role of the continental system in the deterioration of relations between the two countries, the author raises the problem of whether or not Napoleon had far-reaching strategic calculations with regard to Russia. Comparing the data of a number of documents revealed in the archives in recent years with the real actions of the French emperor in Eastern Europe in 1812, the author comes to the conclusion that Napoleon’s actions against Russia were determined solely by pragmatic motives, and much depended on the actual circumstances. Any outcome of the events of 1812 (or 1812–1813) in relation to the prospects (or lack thereof) of the revival of the Franco-Russian alliance was likely.

Статья посвящена дискуссионному вопросу причин кризиса и краха франко-русского союза 1807–1812 гг. Обратившись к ключевым вопросам 200-летней дискуссии, в особенности к роли континентальной системы в ухудшении отношений между двумя странами, автор поднимает проблему наличия или отсутствия у Наполеона далеко идущих стратегических расчетов в отношении России. Сопоставляя данные ряда документов, выявленных в архивах в последние годы, с реальными действиями французского императора на Востоке Европы в 1812 г., автор приходит к выводу о том, что действия Наполеона в отношении России определялись исключительно прагматическими мотивами, и многое зависело от реально складывавшихся обстоятельств. Любой исход событий 1812 г. (или 1812–1813 гг.) применительно к перспективам (или их отсутствию) возрождения франко-русского альянса был вероятен.
